On December 5, 2023, the Future Gastronomy Startup Forum, organized by LABe–Digital Gastronomy Lab, the technological hub for gastronomic disruption at the Basque Culinary Center, returns for its sixth edition at HIP – Horeca Professional Expo 2024. This event stands as the largest exhibition of Horeca innovation and new trends, scheduled to take place at IFEMA Madrid from February 19 to 21, 2024.

The forum will bring together the most disruptive emerging companies with cutting-edge value propositions to present in front of a global and specialized audience, including industry leaders, investors, and potential partners. This gathering becomes a unique opportunity for entrepreneurial talent to showcase itself within the hospitality business fabric, aiming to transform the industry and bring innovation to all levels.

The projects participating in the Future Gastronomy Startup Forum share the goal of impacting any point in the gastronomy value chain, leveraging technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, Data Analytics, IoT, Robotics and Automation, 3D Printing with and without food, Blockchain, or Mixed Realities. Additionally, this year's edition has opened new categories to exhibit proposals and technologies that may not necessarily be related to Horeca channel digitalization but are causing disruption in the hospitality sector. Thus, considerations will also be given to areas such as new foods, ingredients, and processes; sustainability and circular economy; and sensory and culinary sciences.

Startups interested in showcasing their proposal, solution, or product can apply by submitting their candidacy through the registration form before January 22, 2024. The selected projects will participate in the Future Gastronomy Startup Forum - by LABe Digital Gastronomy Lab - on February 20 at HIP 2024.
